Roger Coast
A former Professor of Art & Design and Chairman
of the Industrial Art Department at the Cleveland
Institute of Art, Roger Coast exhibits his detailed
engravings at art shows throughout the United
States. His unique work has been reviewed in
national magazines and featured in newspaper
articles across the country. Mr. Coast’s Cityscape
and College engravings have garnered national
recognition and numerous awards.
Individually Crafted Art Engravings
Roger Coast’s drawings are transferred to
metal though an acid etching process.
Protective coating on the metal forms a mask
of the artist's drawing. Exposed metal is
eradicated as acid burns the drawing into the
plate, leaving the raised detail of the drawing in
stunning detail.
Each engraving is made individually, and is
offered in a handsome brushed metal frame,
making wonderful gifts and additions to the
home or office.
